Multiphase mixing in a Combustion Chamber
Context
The objective of this project was to develop a new water-fuel mixing system in a gas turbine combusted.
Resolution
A 3D modeling of unstable multiphase flows has been carried out. This modeling allowed us to estimate expense losses related to the water-fuel mixture.
Results
The study identified the flow pattern in the combustion chamber during the multiphase mixing process. She also helped validate the design of the water-fuel mixer.

Industrial Boiler
Context
Resolution
The first step of this study was to make a diagnosis of the calculations (mesh, physics and implementation). This helped to identify anomalies, correct errors and optimize the CFD model.
Results
Thanks to the CFD modeling of the system anomalies were detected and corrected.

Fire Tube Performance
Context
The aim of this project was to improve the performance of a Fire Tube.
Resolution
For this study an evaluation of the combustion performance of the heater was carried out. The objective of this evaluation was to maximize the Rebouilleur’s overall capacity.
Results
The results obtained allowed a description of the flows and thermal behavior in the re-boiler (for liquids and smoke). The study also allowed an analysis of optimal performance as well as a coupling of heat exchanges between the smoke and the surrounding liquid.
