The field "Energy" within EURO/CFD is very large as it intervenes on various key-systems of the energetic production: turbomachines, heat exchangers, air-condensers within power plants.
We intervene mainly on optimization during conception phases and on-site problem solving.
CFD applications
Turbines inputs
Conception and optimization of turbines input and ouput systemes is possible through CFD studies. Solutions have to be in accordance with builder's requirements (dynamism and heat) in terms of flow. Development of new mixture systems and aerodynamics optimization allow a drop of head loss and a raise of machines performances.
Turbomachines
Flow within turo-alternators for power plants are being studied. For rotors or stators, performances of a new ventilation system have to be verified or existing systems should be improved.
