EURO/CFD was founded in 2005 by Karim Loueslati and Alvaro Hernandez-Gomez, 2 PhDs in fluid mechanics. Experts in both Research and Industry, they saw the ever-growing needs in engineering and participated to the expansion of numerical calculation.

EURO/CFD is located at the heart of the "Energy Valley", in the industrial park Tech'nom in Belfort. Some of the biggest companies of the energy sector, such as General Electric, Alstom or Converteam, chose this location.
EURO/CFD is also in the middle of the competitiveness cluster of automobile Alsace Franche-Comté where is located the main industrial center of PSA Peugeot Citroën and its equipment manufacturers.
